Hi, I'm Klaas Brandwijk, a 23-year-old from Utrecht, The Netherlands. I help investors and future expats, both Dutch-speaking and international, find their place in Dubai and Oman.

In 2013, my parents took me on vacation to Dubai. I was eleven years old and had never been so far from home. Looking out of the airplane window, I saw the Dubai skyline for the first time, and before I'd even stepped off the plane, I'd told my whole family that one day I was going to live here.

That idea never left me. I came back again and again over the years, and every visit made it clearer that Dubai wasn't just a place I admired, it was where I wanted to build something. And each time I flew home, the contrast hit harder. The more uncertain Europe's direction felt to me, the more Dubai stood for the opposite: a place that was building, growing, and looking ahead with confidence. After a few years working in sales, I knew I was ready for the step I'd been picturing since I was a kid.

In October 2025, I came across a documentary about a Dutch real estate agent who had built a career in Dubai. By the time it ended, I was sold. This was the opportunity I'd been looking for, and a fellow Dutchman was already thriving in it. I reached out to the agency from the documentary, and in January 2026 I flew to Dubai to spend a week getting a behind-the-scenes look at how they work, to see if it was a good fit on both sides. It was. At the end of the week, they told me to come back after the summer to really get started.

Since then I've spent every day getting to know the middle-eastern market inside and out, because I remember how overwhelming it can feel from the outside. The terminology, the rules, the question of who you can really trust. I've stood where you're standing, and I want to make that path simpler for the people taking their first steps abroad.
